MEET HILLVIEW
|
Hill View was formed in May of 1991 to provide world class technical resources to
businesses and professionals in North Eastern Pennsylvania.
Since that time, Hill View's clients have included Internet content developers,
television network affiliates, cable television operators, corporate and independent
video producers, architectural firms, advertising agencies, manufacturers, health care,
defense, government and educational institutions located on the east coast and across the country.
In 1997, Hill View Inc. completed the design, implementation, and activation of one of the first
400 broadband networks in the world to successfully provide Internet services through a cable TV
plant. To compliment that project, Hill View began offering web site design and development,
hosting, and related Internet services.
Hill View's web hosting services are industrial strength, including multiple redundant backbone
connections, fault tolerance, and load balancing in a secure climate controlled environment.
Web sites developed by Hill View are housed on a dedicated host for the exclusive use of Hill View
clients.
Stephen Suraci, Principal, has worked in virtually every aspect of the design, creation, and
implementation of computer systems. For the past 25 years, he has been very active in researching,
developing and delivering technology-based solutions for organizations ranging from sole proprietors
to those in the Fortune 100.
Spending nearly ten years as a member of research and development liaison teams, he has developed
software engineering tools and methodologies used by hundreds of programmers at subsidiaries of
General Electric and NYNEX.
He designed and built one of the first entirely digital community information channels delivered
over cable TV, and is factory trained in tools and techniques used to create 3D animations,
digital video, and other digital media.
He has been a National Ski Patrol member at Elk Mountain Ski Resort since 1990, and is a
Certified National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care Instructor. He has served as
technical consultant to the Elk Mountain Ski Club, and as a USSA Alpine Chief of Timing
Official for the Pennsylvania State Championship Ski Races.
Hill View's administrative offices are located roughly halfway between Scranton, PA and
Binghamton, NY, on a ridge facing the Elk Mountain Ski Resort in Susquehanna County of Northeastern PA.
